In His Time

We’re always in a hurry. We want things done…right away! But Peter said that, “With the Lord, a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:8-9). God could easily come and intervene in our affairs if He wants to, but He’s patiently waiting for us to learn our lessons and develop our character. He must have His reasons for taking His time. So let’s just go through life’s seasons; through happy times…and sad ones as well. And know that there’s a purpose for everything that happens under the sun. After all, our Father in heaven knows best.
